As the company’s founder and visionary, Kristin McLauchlan leads Legacy Trust Family Wealth Offices in its efforts to consistently deliver the highest level of service to its families. Under her leadership, the company has emerged as one of the leading Multi-Family Offices for families with multi-generational wealth in North Florida.

Kristin has been involved in trust and investment services since 1990, when she served as first vice president and trust officer of SunTrust Bank, North Florida. During her tenure there, Kristin managed the trust and investment services for the Bank’s most affluent market.  At Legacy Trust, Kristin concentrates on creating a differentiated offering for the ultra-affluent.  Her strategic approach to growing each family’s assets includes an analysis of their overall situation and primary goals.  Kristin’s focus remains on building the company through client relationships and new offerings, with particular emphasis in trust and estate tax strategies, family foundations and overall family wealth planning.

Mrs. McLauchlan holds a degree in Economics from the University of Michigan and is a graduate of the Florida Bankers Association’s Graduate Trust School.  She is actively involved in the community and volunteers with a range of local nonprofits. Kristin served for many years on the Board of Directors for Ronald McDonald House Charities, has been active with The Bolles School, Art with A Heart, and the Gabriel House of Care.

Mr. McLauchlan is a founder and a board member of Legacy Trust Family Wealth Offices where he plays an active role with the company, working with clients on non-traditional investment opportunities such as private equity and international investments.

Rodney began his career in investment banking at Bankers Trust Company where he was an Executive Vice-President and a member of the bank’s management committee. Subsequent to Deutsche Bank’s acquisition of Bankers Trust, Rodney was the Chief Executive Officer for Deutsche Bank in Latin America. He is currently a Senior Advisor to Shearman and Sterling, LLP and Global Strategic Associates. In addition to serving on the board at Legacy Trust Company, Rodney is also a board member of Uptime Solutions, Swyft Mobile and Perfin Investimentos; and a former member of the Supervisory Board of Global Collect and former Chairman and Trustee of The Bolles School as well as an emeritus board member of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. McLauchlan earned an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA in Economics from The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He also holds an APC in Federal Taxation from New York University. Rodney currently resides in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and claims as his most significant accomplishment his family — wife Kristin and their five children.

Kristi Quick is a seasoned executive with extensive experience overseeing the finance organization for high-growth companies, most recently serving as VP of Finance for Taylor Foundation Services and CFO for American Sleep Medicine, LLC. A trained CPA, she started her career with Deloitte and spent 18 years in ever increasing roles within the finance and operations leadership at Vicar’s Landing.

As CFO for Legacy Trust, Kristi is responsible for ensuring that the company continues to drive growth, capitalizing on the sector’s demand for more personalized financial guidance among the area’s wealthier families. She oversees legal compliance and risk management across the spectrum of financial operations and is responsible for internal policies as they pertain to human resources, Board governance and shareholder relations.

Kristi is a longtime Jacksonville/Ponte Vedra Beach resident.  She received her BA in Accounting and her MBA from the University of North Florida. She resides in Ponte Vedra Beach with her husband, Charlie, and Thomas, the last of four children at home.

Marty has been in the financial services industry for over 30 years. Prior to joining Legacy, he worked at several major financial institutions including Wells Fargo, Barnett Bank, First Union and SunTrust. He is an experienced banker whose specialties include lending, investments, estate planning services, and insurance.

As Director of Relationship Management, Marty works closely with Legacy’s clients to understand their specific financial needs and coordinate a team of the right financial specialists and services.  Marty’s focus is on ensuring Legacy’s clients receive the full concierge offering of financial oversight and generational wealth management that includes estate planning, investment management, tax strategies, and trustee services.

Marty attended the University of Michigan and Western Michigan University where he earned his B.B.A. degree in Finance. He is also a Certified Financial Planner.   Marty has been a resident of Jacksonville since 1987 where he has been actively involved in Little League baseball and Rotary Club.  Marty also served on the board of directors for the Cathedral Arts Project until 2015.

Susan Tronti is a Relationship Manager and Associate Director at Legacy Trust Family Wealth Offices. She began her career in Boston working for State Street Bank and one of their subsidiaries, Boston Financial Data Services. Susan worked in the Client Services division supporting the financial arm of a nationally known non-profit organization. Her responsibilities included operations management, compliance, client relations and employee development for a staff of 120 employees.

After relocating to Florida and settling her family, she returned to the workforce and joined Legacy Trust in March of 2007. Susan developed and coordinated workflow and procedures for Legacy’s operations department before moving into a client relationship role in February of 2011. Susan is a graduate of Boston College, earning a B.A. in Communications. She lives with her husband in Ponte Vedra Beach, where they raised their five children.

Holly Tyrrell is a Relationship Manager and Associate Director at Legacy Trust Family Wealth Offices.  Ms. Tyrrell has been involved in financial services for more than ten years having served most recently as a Financial Advisor with Northwestern Mutual.  She holds a degree in Communications from Florida State University and is a Certified Financial Planner®.  As a relationship manager for Legacy Trust, Ms. Tyrrell works  directly with Legacy’s client families, assisting in their long-term wealth planning, generational estate planning and financial guidance.

Holly served on the Board of Directors at The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville for six years from 2009 to 2015.  She currently serves on the Unit Board for the Beaches Boys & Girls Club.  Holly grew up in Mandarin and attended Stanton College Preparatory School.  She resides in Neptune Beach with her husband, Jeff, and their two spirited boys, Jack & Luke.

Chord McLaughlin is currently a CFA Level III Candidate who began his career with Pinnacle Insurance & Financial Services as a product and industry analyst.  Chord earned his bachelor’s degree in business, with a further focus on investments, from the University of North Florida’s Coggin College of Business. He lives in Jacksonville Beach with his wife Orlaith.

As Portfolio Manager, Chord works closely with the Investment Committee and Senior Consultants in overseeing the development and execution of Legacy’s investment strategy, research, and due diligence of investment managers. Chord exuberates passion for investments and portfolio management; taking pride in the work that goes into the long-term growth and preservation of Legacy’s client portfolios.

Suzanne Blake - Associate Director, Operations & Compliance

Suzanne was born in Taiwan and moved with her parents to several states in the US before settling in the Jacksonville area where she has spent most of her life. Suzanne graduated from Orange Park High School and went on to receive a degree in Finance from Florida State University.  Suzanne also has a Paralegal Certificate from the University of North Florida.  She now lives in Ponte Vedra Beach with her three children.

As Associate Director of Operations and Compliance, Suzanne is tasked with the oversight of our operations department and trust accounting.  She works diligently to ensure that all trust and accounting standards are met daily.  Suzanne’s function as the Compliance Trust Officer is an essential part of our business as she enthusiastically ensures that we adhere to our role as  a fiduciary agent for clients.

James Tronti - Portfolio Management Associate

James is a long-time resident of Ponte Vedra Beach, graduating from Nease High School and going on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida State University.  James was employed at Vicar’s Landing, a local retirement community, throughout high school and college and was awarded the annual employee scholarship for all four years of his college career.

In his role as Portfolio Management Associate, James is responsible for assisting with client requests and account services while ensuring the highest quality and service standards are met.  James’s support of the Operations and Investment Teams in terms of tax monitoring, cashiering, and rebalancing is integral.

Natalie Johns - Relationship Manager Coordinator

Natalie began her career working in the assisted living division of a retirement community in her hometown, Naples, FL.  She went on to work for US Homes/Lennar of Southwest Florida as a New Home Orientation Specialist, serving as a liaison between new home buyers and the company’s administration and construction staff.  Natalie is active in the community and currently volunteers with Ronald McDonald House Charities and Gabriel House.

Natalie attended the University of North Florida where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science with Cum Laude Honors.  She is currently seeking her MBA with a concentration in Finance through American Military University.

In her role as Relationship Manager Coordinator, Natalie works closely with Legacy’s Relationship Managers and investment and operations staff to ensure that clients’ financial, tax and estate planning needs are being met in a holistic way.  Natalie’s penchant for client service and her accommodating attitude ensure that all of Legacy’s families are well taken care of.
